Dr Nelson Ogunshakin FREng, OBE

Accomplished infrastructure executive with 40 years’ global experience delivering major projects. As an HS2 Ltd Board member, he supported the £85 billion London–Birmingham railway. He chairs an African infrastructure fund’s Investment Committee, overseeing sustainable power and transport investments. At Transport for London, he chaired the Programmes and Investment Committee, directing £5 billion in annual capital investment. As a Crossrail director, he supported the £18 billion Elizabeth Line turnaround. As FIDIC CEO, he transformed operations, increased annual revenue by 150%, and secured agreements with eight multilateral development banks covering projects exceeding US$190 billion annually, demonstrating governance, commercial judgement and stakeholder leadership.
