PMI Europe, in collaboration with PMI Cyprus Chapter, organised a Roundtable Discussion that took place on Friday 8th of November 2024, at the Amathus Beach Hotel, Limassol. The topic of discussion was: ‘Shaping the Future of Project Management Education and Achieving Project Success Together’.
The event brought together executives from the public, private, semigovernmental sectors and academia and offered a unique platform for knowledge sharing, strategic discussions and networking. During this interactive exchange of ideas, it was recognised that project success requires a variety of skills with soft/power skills being of most importance rather than the technical skills. The importance of institutionalise the profession of project management in the public sector, the need for certified project managers with continuous education and relevant experience were also recognised as key success factors for project delivery.
The event was under the auspices of the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Demetris Scourides.
