Construction and Operations projects are often plagued by the “Optimism Bias”. We plan for the best day but often manage for the worst. In an era where data is the new concrete and AI is the new rebar, traditional project management methods are no longer enough to guarantee delivery. This session bridges the gap between the digital world and the physical world of site operations. We will move beyond the buzzwords to explore practical, rigorous strategies that turn “unstructured” project chaos into predictable, controllable outcomes, from inception to final operational handover.

Biography: Orestes (Tes) Adamou
Orestes (Tes) Adamou is the Founder Chief Executive of EEDN, a Construction Project and Programme Management Consultancy with in London and now expanding in Cyprus. He holds Master’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. He’s a Member of the ICE and Chartered Project Manager with RICS, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has led multi-stakeholder complex projects from R&D and Data Centre facilities, to Higher Education programmes and commercial developments. He was also a visiting lecturer at Imperial College London in Project Management and Construction Law.
