The PMI Cyprus Chapter is the leading association in Cyprus for advancing excellence and professionalism in Project Management. We are a newly established non-profit organization and we welcome members from all facets of projects and from all industries.
Membership of the Chapter will keep you in touch with Project Management developments, techniques, tools and standards. We serve our membership base and support the promotion and advancement of project management as a professional discipline in Cyprus. We also assist in the professional growth of our members, corporate organisations and communities.
Our second Professional Development Event for 2019, Finance and Accounting for Project Managers, was held on Wednesday 27 March, at the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF). The event explored fundamental financial accounting concepts and terms that project managers should be familiar with.
The PMI Cyprus Chapter organized and delivered its 2nd International Project Management Conference on Friday 16 November 2018, at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Conference was a great success with more than 250 delegates, representing a wide range of industries, governmental institutions and academia.
Another successful Professional Development Event – our fifth in 2018 – was held on Thursday 27 September at CIIM (the Cyprus International Institute of Management), entitled “Strategy: First, Last, Always”.
Another successful Professional Development Event – our fourth in 2018 – was held on Thursday 24 May at CIIM (the Cyprus International Institute of Management) titled “Contemporary Business Management & Emotional Intelligence”.
We were very pleased and honoured that, after a lengthy scrutiny process, the PMI Cyprus Chapter was selected, among a number of European Chapters, to present in this year’s PMI Leadership Institute Meeting 2018, in Berlin.
This year’s PMI Leadership Institute Meeting 2018 – EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) was held in Berlin, Germany, from 4 to 6 May. This EMEA LIM had 356 attendees, representing 91 Chapters from 71 countries.
